BIO

Louis discovered his passion for cinema in 2018 during the production of the amateur feature film Gott. He subsequently produced, directed, and served as cinematographer on several feature films, developing strong technical and artistic expertise. This period culminated in Ostinato, which marked his entry into professional film productions. In 2023, he directed and edited Le Silence des morues (The Silence of the Cod), which won the Grand Prize at the Festival des pêcheurs du monde (World Fishermen's Festival). He then worked as director of photography and producer on several films, including Tamanna & Tabassum and Du in mir mit mir allein. As the founder of the Pik Polychrom Association, he is committed to promoting independent, meaningful cinema. In 2025, he shot and edited Träume und andere Realitäten (Dreams and Other Realities) in Berlin, which went on to receive two festival awards.
