A graduate of Collège Ahuntsic in chemistry-biology technology since 1974, Mario Longpré worked in basic research at the University of Montreal, then as a perfusionist during open heart operations at the Montreal Heart Institute.To get closer to nature, he moved to Carleton-sur-Mer in 1979 where he taught biology, physics and chemistry at Antoine-Bernard high school.Associate owner at Communications Médialog from 1987 to 2017, he specialized in museology as an exhibition director for museums and interpretation centers.Certified in scuba diving since 2005, he has developed an expertise in underwater photography and video. His pictures are a testament of  the beauty and the fragility of our marine ecosystems.
