BIO

Marie grew up near a potato field and a brickworks, just minutes away from a bustling town. Her childhood summers were defined by observing kites, *moules-frites*, and the ocean waves. Captivated by the salty air, the endless horizon, and the strength of small communities, she put down roots in the Gaspé Peninsula. Driven by a desire to do meaningful work (and perhaps to stir up a little trouble?), she returned to school to study directing and creative practice at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec. As a director, writer, cultural worker, and emerging artist, she brings to life artistic projects rooted in collaboration, humor, and contemporary issues.
